Ex Grounding Device Usage Area
Specially manufactured ex-proof tanker grounding devices are used in fuel filling and storage facilities to equalize the potential difference. This device is connected to the grounding terminal on the tanker with the help of a grounding clamp before the fuel transfer from or to the tanker begins. When the potential difference between the tanker and the process is equalized or drops below a certain value, it gives a warning with a green lamp via a contact and also grants operating approval to the pump motor control circuit.
